Please join us for the 74th annual North Central Forest Pest Workshop hosted by the Indiana Department of Natural Resources and Purdue University.
The North Central Forest Pest Workshop (NCFPW) is an annual gathering of persons interested in forest health issues facing the north central portion of North America. This region encompasses Manitoba and Ontario, Canada; and Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, and Wisconsin, USA. The NCFPW attracts plant pathologists, forest entomologists, foresters, researchers, students, and more.
NCFPW 2025 will be centered around “Application of Digital Technology for Forest Health.” The meeting format will include a field tour, state and provincial forest health reports and research presentations.

- In-person registration options include full registration ($300 USD); students and retirees ($150 USD); and a single day rate ($75 USD). Registration for in-person attendance closes on September 18th. Note that registration does not include hotel reservations.

Student Travel Award
The NCFPW Board of Representatives and Planning Committee are happy to announce travel assistance awards for graduate students traveling to NCFPW 2025. The student travel award will cover the meeting registration fee, accommodations, and travel-related costs for eligible graduate students to attend and present at NCFPW 2025, which will be held in Lafayette, Indiana from 29 September – 2 October 2025. Funds are limited. Please speak with your graduate advisor about funding before applying.
