Please join us for the 75th annual North Central Forest Pest Workshop hosted by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources.
The North Central Forest Pest Workshop (NCFPW) is an annual gathering of persons interested in forest health issues facing the north central portion of North America. This region encompasses Manitoba and Ontario, Canada; and Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, and Wisconsin, USA. The NCFPW attracts plant pathologists, forest entomologists, foresters, researchers, students, and more.
NCFPW 2026 meeting format will include a field tour, state and provincial forest health reports, and research presentations.

Student Travel Award
The NCFPW Board of Representatives and Planning Committee are happy to announce travel assistance awards for graduate students traveling to NCFPW 2026. A total of 8 student travel awards of $500 USD will be available to cover the costs of attending the annual workshop in Michigan from 15 September – 17 September 2026.
